Women Leaders of Ubah Disciples in Anambra state on Saturday held their meeting at Dove Resort Nnewi.  Addressing the Women Leaders, the State Women Leader, Asogwa Peace urged the women to showcase the believe in Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah governorship project which is the mantra of Ubah Disciples.  She told them that as women leaders in their various local governments, have big assignments in making Ubah Disciples membership great.  According to her, to whom much is given more is expected. She urge to go to work.  Speaking in the same vein, the state chairman, Mr. Chukwudi Atueyi described Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah as a man to believe in. He said that the track records of Sen. The EEDC has through it's head of corporate communication Emeka Ezeh has once more informed the general public on  the partial supply restoration after the system collapse earlier today, 6th July, 2024.  So far, Awada and GCM TCN stations received supply at 18:54 hours; Nibo TCN station and Agu Awka TCN station received supply at 18.55 hours and 18:56 hours respectively; while Oji River TCN station received supply at 19:22 hours. We are still standing by, anticipating full and normal restoration of supply to other interface TCN stations. He concluded

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) through the head, corporate communication, Emeka Ezeh wishes to inform her esteemed customers of a general system collapse which occurred  at 15:09 hours today, 6th July, 2024. This has resulted in the loss of supply currently being experienced across the network. He said that due to this development, all their interface TCN stations are out of supply, and is currently unable to provide services to their customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo States. "We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo." He concluded 

In response to a distress call today 4/7/2024 at about 12:40 pm of a building collapse at Ekeoyibo market, Amawbia, Police Operatives of Anambra state command have rescued two victims and taken them to the hospital for medical care.  Meanwhile, on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, SP Tochukwu Ikenga Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command. Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has been urged to reduce the recently increased stallage Fees in Anambra markets, especially Government-owned markets. The Anambra Traders' Forum who made the appeal in a statement issued and made available to the media in Onitsha, the State commercial hub, lamented that the fees are becoming unbearable for most traders in the market. The Anambra State Government through the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce, and Markets, increased the spillage fee from N12,000 to N30,000. In the statement signed by Chief Uzoma Anunihu, Chief Media Officer, the group said the Anambra markets are mainly populated by women, some of them are widows. Apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to make history by ordering the release of the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This is also as it hailed the South-East governors and the Senators from the region over their recent move towards Kanu's release. The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has cautioned its customers against falling victim to any individual or group demanding money from them to process their meter application, stressing that EEDC does not charge customers for meter application. EEDC has an online meter application infrastructure in place that allows customers to apply for prepaid meters and monitor their applications seamlessly. Therefore, situations where customers would be made to pay for meter application is worrisome.
