MMG sets to empower Youths in Anambra, partners Chinese firm.

An NGO, the Mass Movement for Good Governance(MMG) has concluded plans to empower over 1000 youths in Anambra. This is squeal to a recently signed partnership agreement with HZS Biotechnology International, a Chinese firm based in Lagos Nigeria. The founder and convener of the group, Hon. INEC Boss Task GOCOP on the spread of fake News.

The National Chairman of Independent electoral commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu has tasked the guild of corporate online publishers (GOCOP) on the need to curb fake news as Nigerians go into the general election in 2023. This is coming at the heels of the 6th annual conference of the guild of corporate online publishers on managing the process for credible out of the 2023 general election held at Sheraton hotel Ikeja Lagos state.    In his address Prof Yakubu Mahmood commended GOCOP for choosing “2023 Elections: Managing the Process for Credible Outcome” as the theme for this year’s conference. GROUP CALLS OUT EMEKA IHEDIOHA, SAYS HE CANNOT RUN FROM JUSTICE .

A group known as IMO COALITION FOR JUSTICE, PEACE & TRUE DEMOCRACY, through its secretary Ahumareze Ikechukwu has called out the former governor Imo state over the alleged siphoning of funds from the State-Local Government Joint Accounts Allocation Committee (JAAC), under his watch . The group in a statement in Owerri said that, It has come to their attention the attitude of EMEKA IHEDIOHA in trying to delay and deny justice against the probe of his illegitimate administration of 8 months. Imo State Police Command Obtains Warrant Of Arrest of top Imo politicians for converting public property for personal use

The Imo state Police Conmand has obtained a warrant of arrest from a court of competent jurisdiction in the state to arrest Messrs Chief Kingsley Ufere, Chief Batos Nwadike, His Excellency Gerald Ịrona, Hon. Jones Onyereri and Chief Obinna Duruaku for converting government property in their possession to personal use. In different warrants of arrest obtained by the commissioner of police, Imo State Command sited by this reported, the state police chief said they should be arrested anywhere seen in the state or country. In the case of Chief Kingsley Ufere and Chief Batos Nwadike, the police commissioner accused them of converting "one (two) Toyota Hilux 2019 model, property of Imo State government to your personal use" while that of Hon. PDP crisis: Atiku moves to break Wike’s ranks, reaches out to allies

Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his team have perfected plans to break the ranks of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State. Also, strong indications emerged that Governor Wike and those sympathetic to his cause may be settling for former Ondo State governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko, as a replacement for the PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, if their plans scale through. Atiku and Wike have been engaged in a feud over the removal of Senator Ayu. EEDC NOTICE OF SYSTEM COLLAPSE, CUSTOMERS ASKED TO BE PATIENT.

  The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of a system collapse which occurred  at 10:51am today, 26th September,2022. This has resulted to the loss of supply currently being experienced across the network. Due to this development, all our interface TCN stations are out of supply, and we are unable to provide service to our customers in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo States. We are on standby awaiting detailed information of the collapse and restoration of supply from the National Control Centre (NCC), Osogbo.
