Soludo Visits Kanu In Detention

The governor of Anambra state Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo on Saturday  announced through his Facebook page that he has visited the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu to felicitate with him.   " I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East.  He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. SOLUDO IN ABUJA, CALLS ON NDI ANAMBRA TO PARTNER WITH HIS GOVERNMENT IN REPOSITIONING THE STATE

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has made a clarion call on Ndi Anambra in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja to support and partner with his government to take back Anambra State from criminal elements. Governor Soludo made the call during a dinner session with Ndi Anambra resident in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory on Thursday, May 12, 2022. Dame Irene Okwuosa memorial hospital facility officially commissioned in Oraifite.

Dame Irene Okwuosa memorial hospital, a world class medical facility was on the 12th of May 2022 officially opened to the general public by the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation (SEOF) with support from the Voom Foundation USA.  In the his welcome address, Sir Emeka Okwuosa said that the hospital was built to the glory of God and in memory of his late mother, Dame Irene Nneka Okwuosa, who as a teacher was loved by many because of her and care gor people around her when she was alive. EEDC CALLS FOR CAUTION BY MOTORISTS

  The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) has called on motorists to exercise caution while driving on the highways, especially as we have entered the rainy season, where visibility is usually poor once it’s raining. This call was made by the Head, Corporate Communications, EEDC, Mr. Emeka Ezeh in Enugu while reacting to the series of accidents recorded recently within EEDC network, which has affected its service delivery to her customers within the affected areas. According to Ezeh, a Toyota Camry car on Monday hit down one of the High Tension (HT) poles in Premier Layout area of Enugu, pulling down five HT poles, leaving customers served by the line in darkness. Imo govt urges calm as Supreme Court delivers judgment on disputed oil wells with Rivers

Imo State Government has urged citizens of the state to remain calm as it is still awaiting the certified copy of the judgment delivered by the Supreme Court over the disputed oil wells with Rivers State. The Attorney general of the state,Barr C.O.C Akaolisa in a statement issued in Owerri noted that the Counsel to the Government,Chief Olusola Oke informed him that the Supreme Court granted a part of the claim of Rivers State while it refused another part. He said since both parts had not been made known to Government,it is premature to speculate on the outcome of the judgment. He expressed surprise at the statement by Gov Nyesom Wike claiming victory and embarking on celebration. Chief Akaolisa said the action of the governor suggested that he might have had a preknowledge of the judgment hence the celebration. NERC CHAIRMAN COMMENDS EEDC FOR CONSISTENT TRANSFORMATION

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has commended the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) for its giant strides and consistent effort towards the actualization of its sustainability and transformation agenda, for greater productivity and efficiency. IMO STATE GOVT SET TO BUILD SCHOOLS IN THE 305 WARDS IN ADDITION TO THE ONGOING REHABILITATION OF HEALTHCARE CENTERS
