Nwajiuba takes Out-Of-School Children message to Borno

It was yet another day at the Muna and Mafa axis of Borno State yesterday as the Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba HCN paid a working visit to the State to ascertain the gains made through the Better Education Service Delivery for All initiative in tackling the Out-Of-School Children menace. Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba (HCN) however reiterated that a system can only be as strong as its weakest link. Explaining the concept, the Honorable Minister said that children who fail to be educated today will become the unskilled and disadvantaged who will be limited in contributing to our economy tomorrow, thus the pertinence of getting all children equipped through Education.

This past weekend,  Distinguished Senator Frank Ibezim (SFI) stopped by Amauzari where he met with leaders and other well meaning sons and daughters of the community to commensurate with the people of the region over their losses during the last rainy season.  Recall during the last rainy season following a devastating episode of flooding incident affecting Amauzari market, Senator Frank Ibezim  reached out to the leaders of  Amauzari community  and  immediately deployed his Constituency Technical Officers to liaise with identified flood victims to ascertain their immediate needs. Governor Hope Uzodimma's Special Adviser pays WAEC fees for indigent students in Aboh-Mbaise.

Barr. Ogechi Njoku- Ehirim, Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State and also (DG) of Hope support Groups (an umbrella body of support groups for Governor Hope Uzodimma and the Imo state APC) has paid registration fees for over 30 indigent students of public schools writing the 2022 Snior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)/West African Examination Council (WAEC) in her Aboh-Mbaise constituency and neighboring Ahiazu-Mbaise Local government. Group blames PDP for pockets of violence in Imo bye election

A civil society organization has blamed the opposition PDP for the pockets of violence recorded in last Saturday”s bye election in Ngor Okpala of Imo state. It noted that its officers who monitored the bye election for Ngor Okpala state constituency observed that PDP stalwarts were found culpable of instigating violence in some wards in the local government. According to Engr Evaristus Ogbonnaya, leader of Civil society Organization for credible election, it was hypocritical for PDP to turn around and blame APC for the violence whereas its own agent precipitated it.
