The New YPP, The Advent Of A Green Era In The Political Landscape Of Nigeria

A few days ago,  the YPP had a Special National Convention in Abuja where it added green leaves to its symbol and logo and also approved a few other positions notable amongst which is  a position on the National Working Committee for an office of an adviser incharge of matters affecting the  disabled members of the society.  Last Saturday's event  went  down in the history books as the first time a political party would build its ideologies on how to rescue Nigeria from  the gutters where bad leadership dumped it. Our Nation, Nigeria  is filled with abundant human and natural resources and has...

The group stated that, “His further attempt to give the impression that President Muhammadu Buhari has not done anything for that region is quite laughable and ridiculous, given the realities on ground”. The press release, signed by the group’s Chairman Niyi Akinsiju and Secretary Cassidy Madueke, stressed that Senator Abaribe ended up making himself look silly by suggesting that the only personal aide of the President from the region is ‘only’ a photographer. “It beggars belief that an opposition Senator who has been in the corridors of powers since 1999 could knowingly seek to hoodwink Nigerians with a false n...

YEAR 2021 TERRIFYING ECONOMIC PREDICTIONS:#8 BILLION NAIRA WOULD HAVE GONE A LONG WAY

Yesterday, some youths blinded by the lure of lucre and hired by the State Govt went to town with muds packed in both hands with the failed intention of smearing the Distinguished Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District , Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah  His offence according to them was why he didn't keep quiet like his  peers in the Governorship race . while the state Governor sinks the ship of state as he goes about meticulously amassing state resources and shipping them off to Texas in preparation for a life of sumptious retirement after his tenure  They kept questioning why out of all the Gubernatorial aspirants eyeing Agu Awka, it is only the Senator that shakes the table and exposes the Governor's shady dealings  Some even came offline to advise that the Distinguished Senator  should keep quiet as he needs to court the cooperation of the Governor before he can be allowed to succeed him. This led to the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), as well as taking other positive steps, to address the matter in order to avert a breakdown of law and order. But, despite frantic efforts by the government to address the matter amicably, all of a sudden, hoodlums--in Anambra, like in other States--hijacked the protests, launching vicious and 'murderous' attacks on police personnel and their facilities, on the night of 21st October 2020, in Nnewi, through to the evening of 24th October 2020 in Uli. Tragically, at the end of these callous attacks, four Police officers including the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Osumenyi Division, CSP Akpan Joseph, ASP Agu Micheal, the Station Officer (SO), ...
