Nonso Okafor, yesterday gifted three widows a home in Nnewi, at an event attended by the Igwe of Nnewi Dr K.O.N Orizu and the speaker Anambra state house of assembly Mr Uchenna Okafor. Hon. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Professor Godswill Obioma as New Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council. Until his appointment as Registrar/CE of NECO, Prof. Obioma was the Ebonyi State Resident Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission. The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, has resigned as Chairman of the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development (SCDDD). Gambari’s resignation was made known in a statement Tuesday by the Executive Supervisor of the Centre, Amb. Abdullahi Omaki. According to him, Gambari was surrendering his appointment to avoid disputes of passion.
