FRSC, NUPENG Join Forces to Curb Tanker Crashes in Anambra

In its bid to tackle the rising menace of tanker accidents in Anambra State, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has partnered with the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG). This collaboration aims to find lasting solutions to tanker accidents and associated fatalities. Sector Commander Corps Commander Joyce Nnennaya Alexander emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing tanker accidents during a meeting with NUPENG executives on February 28, 2025. Anambra Police Commissioner Moves to Revive Cattle Menace Committee

In a bid to address the long-standing issues posed by cattle grazing in Anambra State, the new Commissioner of Police in the state Ikioye Orutugu has announced plans to resuscitate the Cattle Menace Committee. This decision comes on the heels of a courtesy visit by the Hausa/Fulani Community to his office in Awka today.
