Human Rights Lawyer Hails Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN's Courage in Leadership Award Win

Human rights lawyer, Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, recently applauded the well-deserved recognition bestowed upon Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, as he emerged victorious in The Sun Courage in Leadership Award. The prestigious accolade was presented to Prof Ozekhome at a grand ceremony held on March 1st, 2025, at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos.

The event witnessed the presence of distinguished Senators, Governors, Federal Executive Council members, elder statesmen and women, captains of industry, academia, and other notable personalities who gathered to honor 36 outstanding Nigerians across various fields.

In his commendation of Prof Ozekhome, Ejiofor expressed his joy and admiration for his mentor's remarkable achievement. He lauded Prof Ozekhome's unwavering commitment to justice, his invaluable contributions to nation-building, and his exemplary leadership that transcends the legal sphere.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
