Honorable Barr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba PhD, the ex minister of state for education in the last administration of General Muhammad Buhari has mourned the gruesome murder of 16 Northern hunters yesterday in Edo state. In a press release made available to newsmen in Abuja by the media office of Hon. Barr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba said the incident is a call for the government to address the insecurity in the country.
He said, "I am deeply saddened to hear about the tragic killing of 16 Northerner hunters in Edo state yesterday. On behalf of myself, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba PhD, I offer my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims."
"May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may God grant you the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. We stand in solidarity with you during this difficult time and pray that justice is served."
He stressed that as we mourn the loss of these innocent lives, let us come together to promote peace, understanding, and unity among all Nigerians, regardless of their ethnic or regional backgrounds.
