Valentine Ozigbo Clears Air on His Resignation from Labour Party, Next Move Imminent

Valentine Ozigbo has announced his resignation from the Labour Party, but he hasn't joined any new party just yet. He's promised to reveal his next move in the coming days. This development comes after Ozigbo was endorsed by the Obidient Movement for the 2025 Anambra governorship election. When asked on the platform he intends to join for the Nov 8th 2025 election, he said the election will be driven by the name and not party. He recognized the fact that they are going to battle an incumbent Govenor,and called for Ndi Anambra to join forces with him. He said, that the beauty of what they are doing is to bring people together from other political parties like Labour, APC, PDP.

He said he wants to become the candidate that will cut across all political parties in the state because he has loyalists in almost every political party in Anambra state. He said that at the appropriate time he will give a hint on the party he is going to use.

As a seasoned politician and business executive, Ozigbo has had a notable career, serving as the President and CEO of Transcorp Plc Nigeria from 2019 to 2020. His resignation from the Labour Party has sparked interest, and many are eagerly awaiting his next announcement.

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
