A renowned Human Rights lawyer, Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Chief Edwin Clerk and Pa Ayo Adebanjo, two prominent Nigerian statesmen. In a heartfelt statement released on Tuesday, Ejiofor described the deceased as courageous leaders dedicated to justice, democracy, and equity.

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
