Ozigbo Launches Valiant Movement in Anambra, Calls for New Dawn

In a significant move, Valentine Ozigbo, a renowned business leader and philanthropist, unveiled the Valiant Movement in Awka, Anambra State, on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The movement aims to unite Ndi Anambra under a vision of competence, character, and compassion in leadership.

During the launch event at the Grand East Hotel, Ozigbo delivered a keynote speech that emphasized the need for a transformative political wave in Anambra State. He traced the state's lineage of great leaders, including Nnamdi Azikiwe , Alex Ekwueme, Dora Akunyili, Chinua Achebe, and Peter Obi
and lamented the decline into insecurity and mis-governance in the state. 

Ozigbo called on every son and daughter of the state to rise above division and build a movement bigger than political party lines. 

"This is the moment we rise up and unite behind our vision for a better and brighter Anambra," he declared.

The event featured various segments, including the Voices of the Youth, where student leaders advocated for youth-driven governance, and solidarity messages from notable figures in the movement.

Following his address, Ozigbo officially unveiled the Valiant Movement and launched its digital portal, www.valiants.me

The movement promises to redefine Anambra's political trajectory and has been endorsed by the Obidient Movement, a group supporting Peter Obi's presidential ambitions. 

Ozigbo however urged Ndi Anambra to join the movement and take ownership of the process, refusing to accept leadership that does not serve the people. The Valiant Movement's potential impact on the upcoming Anambra 2025 governorship race.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
