Anambra State, Commissioner of Police Ikioye Orutugu has emphasized the importance of seamless coordination among security agencies. During a recent familiarization visit to the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS) and Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Awka, CP Orutugu stressed that a unified response to security challenges is crucial for promoting public safety and upholding the rule of law.
Effective coordination, according to CP Orutugu, can facilitate Improved Intelligence Sharing, enabling agencies to anticipate and respond to security threats more effectively. He said It also enhances Operational Efficiency, while streamlining responses to reduce duplication of efforts and improve overall effectiveness. Moreover, it fosters Increased Public Trust, promoting a sense of security and confidence among the public.
CP Orutugu however believes that prioritizing coordination and collaboration is a proactive approach to addressing security concerns and promoting a safer environment for all.
