Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah's Political Family Yet to Endorse Any Governorship Aspirant - Vincent Onyeka

The political family of late Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has announced that it has not endorsed any aspirant for the 2025 Governorship Election in Anambra State. This declaration was made today 18th February 2025 at La Luna Hotel and Suites Awka, by Chief Dr. Vincent Onyeka, Director General of Ifeanyi Campaign Organization, which boasts the largest political structure in Anambra State prior to the senator's passing.

The late Senator Ubah's political family comprises various groups, including the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement, Ikemba Women Initiative, Ubah Disciples, Afa Igbo Efu Na Solidarity Movement, and Ubahnation Media Center. The family's decision not to endorse any aspirant yet is significant, given their considerable influence in Anambra State's politics.

Furthermore, Chief Dr Vincent Onyeka said that " Our political structure is built on the principles of human capacity development, infrastructural transformation, and selfless service to the people. We are carefully scrutinizing the antecedents, leadership qualities, and commitment of various aspirants to core ideals that senator Ifeanyi Ubah championed, including good governance, human capacity development, infrastructural transformation, economic empowerment, security and inclusive leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people."

He said that " As we mourn the painful and untimely departure of our beloved principal,senator Ifeanyi Ubah, we remain committed to upholding his legacy and vision for a better Anambra state. In the light of the forthcoming November 8,2025, Anambra governorship election, we wish to inform the general public,our supporters, and political Stakeholders that we have not endorsed or thrown out weight behind any aspirant."

He therefore urged the public especially their loyal supporters not to be misled by speculations, unfounded claims, or any attempt by any individual to exploit their revered political structure for their own personal gains. He assured their supporters that the leadership of the late Senator's political structure is a movement and that they are working diligently and also consulting widely to ensure that when the time comes, they will make informed and strategic decision that is in line with the vision and dreams of the late Senator that represented Anambra South Senatorial District at the Senate. 

They therefore appreciated the solidarity of the of their teeming supporters during this challenging period. 

Senator Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, passed away on July 26, 2024, after a brief illness. His demise was met with tributes from dignitaries, friends, and family members, who remembered him for his philanthropic efforts and commitment to service.

As the 2025 Governorship Election approaches, the late Senator Ubah's political family's endorsement will be closely watched, as it could significantly impact the outcome of the election.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
