Senator Magnus Abe Appointed Chairman of Agency for Great Green Wall

Members of Igbo Concerned Citizens in Rivers state has extended their congratulations to Senator Magnus Ngie Abe( Dikedioranma Ndigbo) on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Agency for the Great Green Wall. This prestigious position is a testament to his exceptional leadership and intellectual prowess, which have consistently set him apart.

In congratulating him, the Leader of the group, Chief O.Z Ubah, through the secretary, Lady Ukanwa Adaku Hope, commended the federal government lead by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for thinking it wise to appointment Senator Magnus Abe into such a position to serve the nation. 

As Chairman, they stressed that Senator Abe will play a crucial role in tackling the vital national responsibility of combating land degradation and desertification, enhancing food security, and empowering communities to adapt to the challenges posed by climate change in Nigeria. Chief O.Z Ubah said that his leadership in this challenging area gives us hope for a more sustainable environment and revitalized green landscapes.

The Great Green Wall initiative is a critical step towards addressing the environmental challenges facing our nation, and we are confident that Senator Abe's dedication and efficacy will drive meaningful progress. We stand firmly behind him, supporting his efforts every step of the way.

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
