Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has launched "Operation Udo Ga-Achi," a joint security initiative aimed at restoring peace and security in the state. The move has received praise from Chief (Dr) Ebuka Onunkwo, a frontline APGA aspirant for the Anambra South Senatorial by-election.
Chief Ebuka Onunkwo however commended Governor Soludo's efforts, stating that he has "taken the bull by the horn." He praised the Governor's commitment to security, citing the passage of the Homeland Security Law and the _agụnẹchemba_ initiative. Onunkwo expressed optimism that these measures would revitalise the state's economy.
The launch of "Operation Udo Ga-Achi" was part of a trilogy of events, including the ceremonial signing of the Anambra State Homeland Security Bill and the inauguration of the Traditional Rulers Council. Governor Soludo's administration has also demonstrated an empathetic approach to governance, supporting low-income earners by waiving taxes.
Onunkwo lauded the Governor's commitment to caring for the less privileged, sharing his belief that societal success is contingent upon supporting vulnerable members of society. With the launch of "Operation Udo Ga-Achi," Anambra State is poised to witness improved security and economic growth.
