Mysterious Death in Anambra: Police Seek Public's Help

A yet-to-be-identified young man was found dead along the Onitsha/Owerri Express Road in Anambra State on January 23, 2025. The Police Operatives attached to Ozubulu Divisional Headquarters responded to a distress call and recovered the body.

According to eyewitnesses, the victim was shot in the stomach by suspected armed men who fled the scene, leaving behind the lifeless body. The Police are now seeking assistance from the public to identify the victim and gather information to aid in the ongoing investigation.

The body has been deposited at the morgue, and further developments will be communicated. The Anambra State Police Command urges anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident and assured that an investigation would be conducted.
