The leader of the Labour Party in Imo State, Senator Athan Achonu has addressed the recent developments and as well dispelled the unnecessary speculations following the stakeholders' meeting held in Umuahia, Abia State. Recently, certain individuals are falsely claiming that the State Chairman, Callistus Ihejiagwa, has ceased to hold his position following the meeting. The youth wing of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Anambra State Chapter has clarified that the Agu Awka Umuchu 132KV DC Transmission  Line and 2 x 60MVA Substation at Ibughubu Umuchu, with 2 x 132KV Line Bay Extension at Agu Awka, is not an abandoned project.  The clarification came following a motion moved on the floor of the House of Representatives on Tuesday by the Member representing Aguata Federal Constituency, Hon.
