By Chigozie Igbo

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has ushered in a new era with the "DRIVE" initiative, unveiled by Mazi Opara Ejimofor PhD, the national publicity secretary of the party, at the homecoming ceremony of the National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa.

According to Mazi Ejimofor, the "DRIVE" initiative stands for Discipline, Rebranding, Inclusivity, Visibility and Expansion. He emphasized that APGA will no longer be a party of disconnect, but rather a disciplined and structured organization.

Under the leadership of Barr. Ezeokenwa, APGA aims to rebrand itself as part of the larger progressive family worldwide. The party will prioritize inclusivity, welcoming individuals from all tribes, creeds, and backgrounds. Ejimofor urged party members to spread the news, emphasizing that everyone is welcome to APGA.

The "DRIVE" initiative also focuses on visibility, with party members serving as ambassadors and representatives of progressive ideals. Ultimately, APGA aims to expand its reach, conquering new territories under Ezeokenwa's leadership.

Barr. Ezeokenwa's assumption of office as National Chairman marks a significant milestone for APGA. He was unanimously elected by over 300 delegates at the party's national convention in May 2023.

As APGA embarks on this new era, the party seems poised to reposition itself as a major force in Nigerian politics. With the "DRIVE" initiative, APGA is set to drive progress, unity, and growth, both within the party and across the nation.
