ANAMBRA SOUTH SENATORIAL BYE ELECTION: THE RACE IS BETWEEN EBUKA ONUNKWO AND OTHERS

The eagle flies in solitude and is regarded as the king of birds. Its beak clutches a scroll with the motto: e pluribus unum (out of many, one). As an Eagle Scout, you have assumed a solemn obligation to do your duty to God, to Country, to your fellow Scouts, and to all of mankind. The eagle being a magnificent bird easily stands out from packs of pigeons and is beautifully pictured in Deuteronomy 32/11 as a powerful image of trust and security in God.

The Anambra South Senatorial by-election is heating up, and Chief Ebuka Onunkwo is emerging as a strong contender. As the year comes to a close, Onunkwo has been busy strengthening his connection with the people of Anambra South, by leveraging his established track record of human capital development and upliftment by spreading Christmas cheer and putting smiles on the faces of the people.

While other aspirants are making grand promises through proxies (pen pushers), Chief Onunkwo is taking a different approach. He toured the entire wards in the Senatorial District, bearing gifts and spreading cheer during the Christmas season. But that's not all - he's also organized various programs to ensure that youths and children in the district aren't left out of the celebrations.

Ebuka Onunkwo's commitment to empowering his constituents is evident in his actions. He's not just making promises; he's showing the people of Anambra South that he's invested in their well-being. His grassroots approach is resonating with the people, and he's fast becoming the candidate to beat in the upcoming election.

As a successful businessman and philanthropist, Onunkwo brings a unique set of skills to the table. Aside from his outstanding business acumen. It's his passion for giving back to his community that truly sets him apart.

Anambra South Senatorial District has already established a sophisticated political style of carefully scrutinising the track records of would-be aspirants in line with the mantra of gosimkamfunanya. That is the major reason why the district chose a different pathway during the Peter Obi tsunami in the 2023 election.

Ebuka Onunkwo's candidacy is built on a foundation of service, integrity, and hard work. He's not a career politician; he's a leader who's risen through the ranks through sheer determination and perseverance. And as the people of Anambra South get to know him better, they're realizing that he's the perfect candidate to represent their interests in the Senate.

The race is indeed between Chief Ebuka Onunkwo and the others.
