There's No Tension In Ojoto Community --- Igwe Mbamalu

RAYMOND OZOJI reports

His Royal Highness Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu Ezeoranyelu Eze Ojoto (III), the traditional ruler of Ojoto community in Idemili-South Local Government Area of Anambra State, has declared that there is no crisis or civil unrest whatsoever in his community.

Mbamalu who spoke to HEADLINE NEWS exclusively concerning  orchestrated attempts by a certain Chief Dennis Okafor who attempted to crown himself Igwe Ojoto in an uncompleted building as against government directives, said as the Chief Security Officer of Ojoto community, he could categorically say that Ojoto is calm and peaceful and everyone in the community is going about their lawful businesses contrary to fake online news reports of imaginary crisis in the community.

Igwe Mbamalu further disclosed that the claim by sponsored bloggers that a certain DSS report on Anambra traditional stool saga was missing from the Government House was nothing but a mirage as no such documents existed.

According to him, the Department of State Services(DSS) has its modus operandi because it is a secret agency and has its own way of handling vital information, emphasizing that information exclusive to the DSS couldn't have been in the Government House; urging the general public especially Ojoto people home and abroad to disregard such malicious publications because they were intended to cause disaffection and disharmony in the community.

He said since he became the traditional ruler of Ojoto, the community has witnessed massive transformations and developmental strides in all ramifications as they were reconstructing police stations burnt down by unknown gunmen.

Although he pointed out that the only problem in Ojoto community was illegal sand mining, he said that the town union is working in collaboration with the traditional institution to end the menace.

Igwe Mbamalu therefore reiterated that there are no security breaches in Ojoto and no law enforcement agents in plain clothes in his community as claimed by sponsored bloggers paid to create tension and unnecessary panic in his community.
