OWERRI – In a bid to combat hunger and poverty, Good Food For A Day Foundation has launched a nationwide feeding initiative. The foundation's inaugural community feeding program, held on Monday, October 28, 2024, brought joy to children and less privileged individuals on the streets of Owerri.
The foundation's mission focuses on fostering improved health and well-being by mobilizing well-meaning Nigerians to support feeding programs and encourage collective action against hunger.
Elvis Chibuzor, founder of Good Food For A Day Foundation, revealed that the program catered to over 250 people in need. "We aim to continue organizing feeding programs every three to six months, moving across the country in alphabetical order," Chibuzor said.
To support this initiative, Good Food For A Day Foundation invites volunteers, content creators, video editors, bloggers, and social media enthusiasts to contribute their skills. The organization welcomes community support, ideas, prayers, and goodwill messages.
"We believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food. We're committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate," Chibuzor said. "Join us in this mission – whether by volunteering, spreading the word, or providing resources."
