United Igbo Elders Council Worldwide, affirms support for the creation of Anioma state

.....Commends Senator Ned Nwoko for championing its creation


The United Igbo Elders Council Worldwide has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the creation of Anioma State. This declaration was made during a meeting of the Rivers State Chapter of the group, led by HRH Eze Fyneface Amaechi, Ekeuru the 4th of Ozuzu Kingdom Etche.

The meeting, attended by esteemed executive members, including Chief Samuel Okoirl, Vice President; Chief Barr. Emmanuel Opara, Secretary; Chief E.K. Ijiomah, Treasurer; Chief Dr. O.Z. Ubah, Coordinator for Rivers State; and Lady Adaku Ukawa, Welfare Member, emphasized the importance of unity and collective action in achieving the goal of creating Anioma State.

"The creation of Anioma State is a matter of great importance for the entire region," said HRH Eze Fyneface Amaechi. "We are committed to supporting Senator Ned Nwoko's initiative and working together to make this vision a reality."

The group"s support for Anioma State is driven by a desire to address the region's developmental challenges and promote equitable representation in the region. The council believes that the creation of Anioma State will bring about significant benefits for the people of Rivers State and the region at large.

September 8th, 2024, however marked a significant gathering of the group in Rivers State. The meeting, attended by esteemed executive members, aimed to address a pressing issue: the creation of Anioma State.


The meeting's primary objective was to express unwavering support for Senator Ned Nwoko's initiative to create Anioma State. The state coordinator of the group in Rivers State, Chief O.Z Ubah however emphasized the importance of unity and collective action in achieving their goals. He urged the members to remain steadfast in their support for Senator Nwoko's vision, emphasizing that the creation of Anioma State was a matter of great importance for the entire region. The executive members, in turn, reaffirmed their commitment to this noble cause.
