Bishop Onaga buries Late Mr Felix Ekete Chukwuma Ogbu, charges Children to emulate his legacies

To the Children of Mr Felix Ekete Chukwuma Ogbu of Ogbu  Nwa  Nwaforeji of Umuejionu family of Onueke Onowa village in Ndiagu Akpugo in Nkanu West LGA of Enugu and the entire Parishioners of Holy Trinity Catholic Church Ndiagu Akpugo , Friday 3 May 2024 was a glorious and joyous day ,even as they mourned the  earthly passage of Late Mr Felix Ogbu.


The burial ceremony which  began with  at Holy Ghost Cathedral,Enugu on April 26, 2024 with well attended vigil Mass  by priests , Religious, family members ,  lay faithful ,friends and well wishers bore witness to the strong Christian faith of the Late Mr Felix Ekete Chukwuma Ogbu.

Drawing from the life of Mr Felix Ekete Chukwuma Ogbu,  Rev Fr Mike in his homily  urged all to know their faith and stand by it, even as he said that Mr Ogbu stood firm in his Catholic faith and always rejected whatever that was contrary to that .

According to one of his sons , Rev Fr Michael  Amobi Ogbu , his late Father will be missed by all of them and the entire Ndiagu Akpugo community for the kind of person he was. According to him, their father was generous ,peace loving , hard working and good family man.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese , Rt Rev CVC Onaga who celebrated the burial Mass said the deceased nick name( With God all things are impossible) is an eloquent testimony of his strong Faith in God while alive.

Concluding, Bishop Onaga urged the children to maintain the legacies of their Father as a man of faith and courage who together with his wife , stood with the Church at every time and season.

Mr Ogbu loved the Catholic liturgy,  and belonged to various religious associations in the Church.

The burial attracted galaxy of Priests,Religious , Parishioners and a host of dignitaries.
