Panic Mode and State Might Activated as Prof Soludo Moves To Remove Traditional Rulers and President Generals Who Dare to Honour Sen Ifeanyi Ubah with Traditional Titles

The unfolding events in Anambra state this Yuletide season is getting the average observer worried that the current Governor of Anambra state Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo has activated Panic Mode button in his desperation to win a second tenure in office.

Across so many communities, the Town Union Government election was conducted; the imperial and panic stricken Governor alongside his coterie of power mongers have mandated, intimidated and bamboozled town unions into electing only his protégé as President Generals. All aspirants to such positions must bend low and enter APGA and specifically become a member of Soludo Apostles to be given clearance to win. In many communities, elections were cancelled, postponed and declared inconclusive just on state might, and because of Prof Soludo and his Commissioner for Chieftaincy, LGA and Community Affairs Tony Collins Nwabunne.

In Oko Community precisely, the propaganda and the panic mode of Prof Soludo led his army of propagandist to publish across Oko community platforms that Sen Ifeanyi Ubah was on a mission of installing Town Union leaders across Anambra to take power over from him. But it is still morning on the creation day; and the government of Anambra State has entered into "panic mode media" propaganda and war against an innocent people's senator and Ikemba NdiIgbo Sen Ifeanyi Ubah who never had any interest in such town union activities. Yours sincerely contested the election in my community and at the eve of the election; Mr Governor was practically calling every stakeholder in Oko community to ensure the " APC" boy did not win the community election. Why would Community election be determined on political affiliation basis? Is it not State Might in action? For the state to deploy a machinery of propaganda against Sen Ifeanyi Ubah in Oko community's President General election when actually the Senator had no single hand either in opinion, advise, fund or calls to the outcome of that election is evidence of the greatest political threat of Governor Soludo's second tenure. As I reflected on the magnitude of that propaganda even on the voting center; I imagined how someday  Prof Soludo will shout when finally he is defeated by the grassroots general Sen Ifeanyi Ubah that it was all about " Federal Might"

Tell me what is not state might, when in the morning of the an election between two candidates only; Prof Soludo sends his Commissioner to disqualify one candidate on whatever conjecture hidden under Party affiliation. Was the Governor's disqualification letter an open declaration of a solo candidate or endorsement of one candidate for a community like Oko? Perhaps, the wisdom of the community electoral officers who prevailed on the TC Chairman of Orumba North to avoid such a dangerous disqualification saved the day and ensured Oko community remained peaceful. The Plan B of the State Government which was rigging of the election switched on to the dare extent of vote supersession until 13 votes became enough for the state purposes. But we have long congratulated Ndi APGA and  handed over everything to God as we want the peace and progress of Oko Community but the State Might, deployed by Prof Soludo and his Commissioner must be on record" maka adi ama ama"!

From Oko to Nri and to Mbaukwu and many other communities; elections were stage managed and where there is no head way for Government of Prof Soludo; he cancels the election or postpones it! State Might Indeed!

Fast forward to Yesterday where the Distinguished People's Senator was being honoured by so many traditional rulers for his good works and boom; the State Government of Prof Soludo issued a 48 hrs Ultimatum to these traditional rulers to cancel those Chieftaincy titles conferred on Sen Ifeanyi Ubah or loose their ancient traditional stool to the State Might!

Ndi Anambra na kwanu echeki ooo! How the State Government of APGA is using State Might in intimidating town unions and traditional rulers without any sense of freedom or liberty as enshrined in our Constitution. It is very important to draw the attention of Ndi Anambra both home and abroad of these desperate move by a so called performing Governor in stifling and cutting down any dissenting opinion or voice in the "Federal Republic of ANAMBRA State"

Let the Governor be advised to focus, as he will be barely two years in office by March 17, 2024. Why is he emasculating communities and traditional rulers? Why the panic mode?

Our people say and I conclude with that; Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones! Governor Soludo and Government of APGA should stop throwing stones to communities. The election is still 2025!

Drop the Panic Mode His Excellency: It is not broken at all as you once echoed!
