EEDC Restores Power to South East after call off of Industrial Action

The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) wishes to inform her esteemed customers of the restoration of electricity supply following the suspension of the industrial action by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).

As a result, all our sources of supply at the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) stations were restored yesterday night, and our outgoing feeders are now in service, except those on fault.

In addition, supply to Egbu TCN station which serves our customers in Imo State was restored yesterday night.

"We sincerely appreciate our esteemed customers, especially those in Imo State, for their understanding during this trying time, and assure them of our continued commitment to providing improved services."

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
