PETER OBI WALKING INTO A LEGAL TRAP

Reading through an article written by  one of Ukaegbu's media huncho, Frank Nwaete, I can't help but feel for the man Ukaegbu.

It is no longer news that the Imo state chapter of the Labour party will be flagging of campaign soon and several party stakeholders will be coming into Imo state to boost the morale of their party faithfuls. Many of them are being expected, including their presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi.

From the information available on the media space, a faction of the party will be presenting Chief Athan Achonu as their candidate against the ruling of the court.

Coming from those screaming "all eyes on Judiciary, this is really amazing!

Let me say without fear of contraction, that this is a legal trap for Mr Peter Obi and by extension, the party at the national level.

As at today, Ukaegbu remains the candidate of the Labour party, recognized by law and INEC and until there is a new judgement, I don't think it is wise and safe for Peter Obi who seeks redress from the court to come to Imo state and partake in a campaign flag off of a man who doesn't bear the party flag legally.

He that goes to equity must go with clean hand, peter Obi should be smart enough to know when he is being tested and as much as possible, avoid any trap that will jeopardize his reputation, especially as he is equally in court, for his own election case.

Security Forces in the state through a coordinated intelligence report has bursted the camp of the unknown gunmen at Akokwa, Arondizuogu after a long gun duel which resulted to the death of some of the criminals and others arrested. These criminal elements have been known to be behind several attacks in the state such as the killing of police men in Mbaise, Aba Branch in Ehime Mbano, burning down of police stations, attack and attempted kidnapping of former Governor Ikedi Ohakim, abduction of Miss.
