Nigerian Singer Davido has thanked the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) for inviting him to perform at the awards ceremony on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old took to the microblogging platform, X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, thanking the association and stating how music and sports go hand in hand.
“Thank you @PFA for the opportunity to not only attend such a prestigious event but also perform. Music and sports have always gone great together and we proved that again last night!,” he wrote.
Davido performed the songs ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Feel It’ from his new album Timeless at the event.
He is the first African artiste to perform at the PFA awards ceremony.
