Women Group Endorse Sen Hope Uzodinma for 2nd Tenure

Dominion Women International an NGO with active members across the 27 LGAs of Imo state has endorsed the second tenure bid of His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodinma. This endorsement is coming at the heels of their adoption of Hon. Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere, as their patron.

In her opening remarks, the leader of the group Hon. Mrs Chikwe stressed that the reason for their endorsement of the governor's second tenure bid is because of the laudable projects he is doing in the state, as well as his fatherly love to Ndi Imo despite the distraction from the enemies of Ndi Imo. She used the opportunity to commend the SA Imo Poly,Hon. Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere, the Special Adviser to the governor on University of Agriculture- Environmental sciences, Umuagwo, whom she described as a leader par excellence who knows what it means to work with people at the grassroots especially women. She said that for these reasons, the Dominion Women group are adopting him as their patron.

In his response, Hon. Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere, the Special Adviser to the governor on University of Agriculture- Environmental sciences, Umuagwo, thanked them for the honor, especially for endorsing Sen. Hope Uzodinma for second tenure, and asked them to take the good will message of the government, imbedded in the 3R mantra to their localities all over the state. He further asked them to go home to their various wards to participate in the social security data collection and revalidation of the APC register in their different wards.

Adding his voice, the Special Adviser to the governor on ICAPS Hon. Pastor Chika Emedo thanked the women for endorsing Sen Hope Uzodinma's second tenure bid, a move he said gladdens his heart. He said " looking at your faces today I am very glad that you thought it wise to endorse the re election of our dear governor, the father of modern Imo, a man who has made it possible for Imo to be truly prosperous. I know most of you, and i am glad to see new faces also. On behalf of the governor and government of Imo state, my office will empower 15 women here in a free training program at ICAPS in areas of skills acquisition."
