Divine Deliverance Mission Honors Barr Success Akagburuonye

The Divine Deliverance Mission Ahirara Mbaise in Ahiazu Mbaise local government of Imo state, has honored Barr Success Akagburuonye for his philanthropic attributes in the state and beyond. This honor is coming at the heels of the launching of his book Triumph of Success over Failure. A battle of 19 years 7 months and 5 days to defend his existence and wealth.

The Bishop of Divine Deliverance Mission Ahirara, Dr Ahaneku said that Barr Success Akagburuonye has been a divine inspiration to many people in Imo and beyond. He said " we are giving him this honor today because he merits it. We are proud to associate with him because he has impacted positively on the lives of not just our people, but others across Imo. This honor is to let him know that we have been taking note of all he has been doing in Imo state."

He thanked God for the success he recorded in a matter of falsehood peddled against him just to tarnish his image, which God did not allow to stand.

In his acceptance speech Barr Success Akagburuonye, thanked the bishop and congregation of Divine Deliverance Mission Ahirara Mbaise, for the honor bestowed on him. He however stressed that everything in him will continue blessing God, for how far, he has taken him in life, which is one of the reasons he built a cathedral for the Assemblies of God Mission in his hometown.

In appreciation for the honor done him, he empowered members of the church through his healthcare, education, business and home support grants which amounted to millions. He said that its always good for one to ensure that he fulfills promises made in the house of God, as that is an easiest route to success.

One of the beneficiary's of the grant, Mrs Echebiwe Tessy from Obama Nguru Mbaise who has a tumor on her neck received 200,000 for surgery. She thanked Barr Success Akagburuonye for his philanthropic gesture and prayed that God will continue to bless and protect him.

He was joined by friends and well wishers who recounted many of his achievements over the years and how he has helped to empower over 5000 people across all sectors of the state in craft and skills which has made them given them a source of livelihood.
