With the suspension of the strike the head of corporate communications to EEDC Mr Emeka Ezeh has issued a statement directing it's staff to go back to work.
In a statement made available to this newspaper, the head of communication for the EEDC said that"As a result, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has been informed by the Labour Union to restore supply immediately to enable the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC) distribute power to its customers."
An understanding was reached yesterday (Tuesday) between Imo State government and Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) to suspend the industrial action in Imo State.
Imo State government was given two weeks to harmonize and implement all issues raised by the Labour Union.
