Chief Mike Ibeokonkwo Commends Anambra South Indigenes for voting Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah



 ~  gives reasons for supporting Sen Ubah 's re-election 


The former President General (PG) of Obiofia, Nnewi, Chief Mike Ibeokonkwo,  the Obi of Umudala Ogbuji, umuezize Obiofia Nnewichi, has commended the indigenes of Anambra South Senatorial District for turning out in their numbers to re elect Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. He said, this feat of love by the people has indeed shown that Senator Ubah has a place in their hearts because of his disposition to good governance. Recall that Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah who is representing Anambra South senatorial zone has just emerged victorious in the February 25th National Assembly elections.



Senator Ubah defeated Engr Chris Azubogu of APGA, Chief Chris Uba of PDP, Barr Obinna Uzor of LP to secure his return to the red chamber of the National Assembly.



Chief Ibeokonkwo who was spoke with journalists in his residence noted with joy that the victorious senator has brought  responsiveness and effective representation, with the aim of empowering his constituents through legislative interventions that will inturn, turn around the fortunes of the district in no distant time.


He noted that many senators who have represented the zone before the emergence of Sen Ubah did not impact positively on Ndi Anambra South Senatorial District, reason the people are overwhelmed by Senator Ubah's many interventions in the district.


He said that, "Sen Ubah is so loved by the people of Anambra South because of his open door policy, he is always available for the people unlike some of his predecessors who normally disappeared from the scene only to appear during election period."


"Apart from his closeness to his constituents, he has also been moving motions and sponsoring bills that would enhance a prosperous Anambra State in general and Anambra South senatorial zone in particular."


"He is one representative who interacts with the people and it's in his nature to do good, not minding their social level in the society, you need to listen to his interactive radio programs with his constituents, you will marvel at the level of his sincerity of purpose, this he said he is doing when some of his contemporaries are busy building impregnable walls round themselves.


"Before the election, the whole of Nnewi-Nnewi ward 1 mobilized for his re-election, some prominent persons in the ward like Chief Chukwunenye Onyejuruawa(Obi Obiofia, Emma Orji; Orji (Okosisi) Nnewichi ward 1 Chairman, Alphonsus Onedibe and myself humble self ensured that the performing senator got maximum votes in our area." Ifeutor Anaedo revealed.


He therefore called on all indigenes of Anambra South Senatorial District, especially Ndi Nnewi to rally round him for him to succeed at the 10th Senate, and prayed that God gives him the grace to perform his duties as a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.
