SENATOR UBAH ATTENDS ABUBOR NNEWICHI COMMUNITY MEETING, REASSURES NDỊ ANAMBRA SOUTH OF HIS COMMITMENT TOWARDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT



~ AS HE ATTENDS MONTHLY GENERAL MEETING OF ABUBOR NNEWICHI NNEWI COMMUNITY 


Anambra South Senator and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reaffirmed his will to continually partner with relevant authorities to boost development of various communities in the Senatorial District. Senator Ubah made the remarks while speaking at the Monthly General Meeting of Abubor Nnewichi Community in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Addressing members of the community at the Obi Abubor, Senator Ubah appreciated them for their continuous support and reassured them that he will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to promote the wellbeing of his constituents.


The Anambra South Senator who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka also appreciated the Obi of Abubor Chief Francis Okeke (Obidiegwu) for his giant efforts to maintain peace and orderliness in the community. Senator Ubah further used the opportunity to inform ndị Abubor about his recent legislative activities and maintained that quality representation remains his priority at the Red Chamber. He also disclosed that the execution of “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all parts of the community has commenced.


Senator Ubah further informed ndị Abubor that with the signing of 2023 Appropriation Bill of the Federal Republic of Nigeria into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, execution of several new projects that include construction of Nnewi House in Abuja and Lagos as well as Nnewi Youth Club Hall in Awka that were facilitated by his office is expected to commence soon. He also disclosed that the Ifeanyi Ubah Football Academy soccer competition which is under his sponsorship has been concluded in Nnewi North Local Government Area after Nnewichi Ward 2 team defeated their Otolo Ward 1 counterpart to emerge Nnewi representative at the Local Government segment of the tournament. The Senator later congratulated ndị Nnewichi Ward 2 and disclosed that the competition is meant to discover, empower and develop young talents in all Wards of Anambra South Senatorial District.


Commenting on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah thanked ndị Abubor and the people of Anambra South for defying all odds to maintain their love and supports for him and his party, YPP, and urged them to cement those sacrifices by voting massively for the party in the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections.


Also speaking, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated the Obi and the People of Abubor for continually standing with Senator Ubah and YPP. Chief Onyeka further reassured them that they will never regret the sacrifices they made to sustain their uncommon supports for the Senator, and urged them to vote massively for YPP in the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly elections as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes within the community and Anambra South in general.


Responding on behalf of ndị Abubor, Obi of Abubor Chief Francis Okeke (Obidiegwu) appreciated Senator Ubah for his diligence and selflessness. Chief Okeke who was flanked by the President-General Nzukora Nnewi and Acting President-General of Abubor Nnewichi Community Dr Maduka Atueyi, and Acting Secretary of Abubor Nnewichi Community Engr. Ikenna Ekecchukwu also reassured Senator Ubah that the people of Abubor will always give him maximum support, and prayed God to grant more grace, divine protection and long life upon him and his entourage.


Also present at the event were YPP Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election Hon Peter Uzokwe and the party’s Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji.
