I WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OHAJI - GOVERNOR UZODIMMA



The Omenma 1 of Ohaji Oil Kingdom, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has stated his intentions to continue to bring development to the people of Ohaji and its environs.


Governor Uzodimma disclosed this at the Iri Ji Ohaji Festival, where he was decorated by the Traditional Rulers in Ohaji with a Chieftaincy title of Omenma 1 in recognition of his friendly ties with the people of Ohaji.


Speaking after his decoration, the Governor assured Ndi Ohaji of good tidings that his good doings will bring towards the development of Ohaji. “I have come to make electricity, roads, hospitals and other infrastructures work in Ohaji.


The Governor further called for the continued support of Ndi Ohaji to his administration for the State Government to actualize all it has mapped out to achieve for the interest of the State and shun violence.


Speaking earlier, one of the illustrious sons of Ohaji, the CEO, Imo State Oil Producing Development Commission, (ISOPADEC), Chief Charles Orie, commended the Governor for identifying with their cultural heritage, Iri Ji Ndi Ohaji, “the real origination of yam”


The cultural festival of Iri Ji Ohaji was a colorful carnival of Ohaji Sons and daughters with dignitaries, friends and well wishers of the food basket of Imo State.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
