BUHARI VISITS IMO STATE, COMMISSIONS TWO FEDERAL ROADS AND THE NEW IMO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COMPLEX

 


In three different events at the three senatorial zones of Owerri, Okigwe and Orlu, President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned three different projects built by the 3R Government of Governor Hope Uzodimma vis-a-vis: the New Imo State House of Assembly Complex, the Owerri-Okigwe and the Owerri-Orlu Federal roads.


Mr President who came on a working visit to Imo State, was received by a mammoth crowd from Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Ngor Okpala to the capital city of Owerri. From where the President commissioned the Imo State House of Assembly Complex Owerri; the Owerri-Okigwe road (phase one) at Amaraku and the Owerri-Orlu road at banana junction, Orlu.


While commissioning the projects, President Muhammadu Buhari commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for his visionary leadership and infrastructural development across the State. Mr President noted that this was his second time in Imo State within a year and both were for project commissioning. 


He therefore called on Ndi Imo, to continue supporting the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma and his developmental initiatives with a prediction of a total transformation, by the 3R Government, in Imo State. President Muhammadu Buhari encouraged Governor Hope Uzodimma not to drop the ball despite distractions by detractors.


President Muhammadu Buhari promised that, within what's permissible by law, the Federal Government will support the Shared Prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma in the transformation of Imo State into a world-class industrial hub.

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
