It's worthy to note that In the ancient world of the Bible, cities had walls surrounding them, which provided protection from enemies and hooligans from penetrating into their domains. When the wall was breached, the city was vulnerable to destruction; the only way to secure it was for people to risk their lives, by literally standing in the gap on the wall and fighting the enemy.
The narration above best describes Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, who in the last three years has stood in the Gap for Ndi Anambra South Senatorial District. He has so far in the Senate protected the people from the hawks who have since 1999 coverted the position of the Senate as theirs while the people languished in abject want and lack of proactive legislation for the overall good of the people.
In his bid to change the narrative of old in the zone , Senator Ubah has quietly done a yeomans job despite his refusal to blow his trumpet, but folks like me, see a time like this, as the right time to state the obvious
That the Prince of the 9th Senate, has surpassed all the achievements of his predecessors, even as a first time senator to the Red Chamber is an indisputable fact ! .
He has indeed stood in the Gap for the people by touching every facet of his constituency needs , and even beyond. I am still perplexed as to how he was able to get President Muhammad Buhari to sign the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract Act (Amendment)Bill, 2019, in London, a law that has enabled the federal government to generate over 700 Billion annually.
For the avoidance of genuine readers getting hoodwinked by the few naysayers, and their cohorts who have on the alter of petty political considerations , begrudged Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, I will be doing a rundown and comprehensive analysis of his bills, motions and projects completed and currently on going, including series of charity works by the Distinguished Senator through his foundation, the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation.
Facts are sacrosanct and Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has shown that he is a man that has the interest of his people at heart, reason he went to the Red Chamber of the Nigerian Senate to stand in the Gap for them after years of sponsoring political office holders who end up serving their personal interest as opposed to that of the general public .
Indeed , the reward for good work is more work and Senator Ubah deserves a second term at the Senate..
