SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH WELCOMES SENATOR BASSEY ALBERT AKPAN TO THE YOUNG PROGRESSIVES PARTY(YPP).



— DESCRIBES HIS ENTRY INTO YPP AS A WELCOME AND FORMIDABLE DEVELOPMENT. 


Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and also the Leader of YPP has welcomed the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District; Sen. Bassey Albert Akpan into the fold of the Young Progressives Party (YPP). In a release he made on his official Facebook handle, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah says that given their formidable antecedents as a party with an unblemished record and principle of participatory democracy, social justice and equal opportunities for all citizens, his entry into YPP, is a significant milestone in the party’s quest to rebuild and strengthen YPP ahead of the 2023 General Elections and beyond.


Furthermore, Senator Ubah stressed that "Having worked closely and seamlessly with you as your Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources(Upstream), I have an unflinching conviction that your joining the party will yield tremendous results."


"Together, we will work to steer YPP to greater heights and realign our people to the moving train of democracy and restoration of good governance to the country."


He concluded by stressing that "I have utmost confidence that you will use YPP as a vehicle to enthrone rapid economic, social and infrastructural development in Akwa Ibom State."

Valentine Ozigbo Resigns from Labour Party

In a shocking move, against all speculations over the last few days, Valentine Ozigbo, a close ally of Peter Obi, has announced his resignation from the Labour Party (LP).
