Imo state governor Senator Hope Uzodinma has once more condemned tge activities of illegal crude oil bunkering at the wake of the explosion that rocked the illegal refinery in Ohaji Egbema where many lives was lost.
In his speech after the Holy Mass today, he condemned, once again, the activities of illegal crude oil bunkering within Imo territory. He said that the recent pipeline explosion in Imo State has thrown some families in Ohaji/Egbema and Imo State at large, into mourning. These are the consequences of criminality and its associated trades.
The governor stressed however, that with the improved Ebube Agu, Vigilante Group, and a synergy with the security agencies, the approach against banditry has been beefed up for maximum safety of lives and properties.
"Graciously, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has agreed to resume, tomorrow, the suspended Continous Voter Registration Exercise at the three affected Local Government Areas in the State. Our right to vote remains the only means of contribution towards national polity."
