The minister of state education Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has said that a working Nigeria needs commitment "Desiring a working and prosperous Nigeria requires matching efforts, sincerity of purpose and the true desire to bring about positive change."
He said that Nigerians cannot achieve this is the greater part of Nigeria's population remain uneducated, as the menace of unskilled and illiterate adults/workforce of today were victims of the out of school syndrome of yester years.
"Education as the provider of the nation's workforce cannot be thriffuled with as it will directly or indirectly affect our economy today and tomorrow."
The Minister of State for Education Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba HCN made this remark yesterday in Kano at the official launching of the national campaign for Out of school children.
He commended the Kano State Government for their doged efforts in reducing the numbers of Out of school children, while urging all stakeholders not to loose focus but to stay on the noble part of making Education available and accessible to all children and posterity will judge them right.
