Ogbaru Market: Leadership insist that Election was free, fair and credible

The newly elected leadership of Ogbaru Relief Market in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra state, still insist that Election into various offices of the market union was free, fair and credible, as it stated by the call by some disgruntled elements in the market hiding under the platform of traders with fake names are at it again. 


Rising from a high profile meeting of the new executive, the assistant secretary of the market Mr Bucknor, said that traders in the market did not reject any election as that was the figment of the imagination of those that think that they can use blackmail to arm twist the goverment in doing their bidding. 


He said that those calling for protest where the same people who were also calling for elections before now, thinking they will win the election which they lost because of their highandededness and greed. 


Chief Bucknor however said that the names they used as their spokesperson was a fititious name as there is no name like Chinyelugo Nnamekwu, rather what they have in the market is Chinyelugo Maduka who is the chairman of all line chairmen in the market. 


" I can authortativly tell you that there was an election in this market as against their insinuation that there was none in the market. We made sure that we accomodated as many lines as possible, as never before in the history of this market has the number of lines accreditated to vote has reached what we did under 14 days"


He went on to state that " we call on Goverment and it's agencies to disregard the rantings of those who thought they will win election by intimidation as traders in the market has spoken he concluded.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
