In drumming support for the Out-Of-School Children getting back into classes, the Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba HCN has paid an inspection visit to the Federal Government Girls College, Potiskum in Yobe State.
The Minister who was on his way to Damaturu, capital of Yobe State, stopped over at the school to inspect the state of the facilities as well as to appraise the current enrolment rate of students in the face of security challenges bedeviling most states of North Eastern region of the North.
He described as unfortunate that children will have to suffer, with the crises stifling their future.
Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba however encouraged parents and guardians to enrol their children in schools to help reduce the rate illiteracy in the country.
He went further to assure everyone that the Federal Government of Nigeria is doing her best to provide a safe and conducive environment for learning.
