Nwajiuba intensify efforts at curbing out of school children syndrome

With the increasing rate of Out-Of-School Children borne out of the several socio-economic factors, insecurity inclusive, the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Education embarked on a national campaign on out of school phenomenon.

At the banquet Hall of the Niger State Government House, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba reiterated the government's commitment towards increasing the number of children in schools.

He urged all stakeholders to put in more efforts in eradicating this menace.

Joining him on this was the Executive Governor of Niger State, Alh. Abubakar Bello who asked the Minister to do more by getting international donor agencies to help fight this cause.

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
