RECOGNITION OF K.O. MBADIWE UNIVERSITY, OGBOKO AS IMO STATE-OWNED UNIVERSITY: IMO APC HAILS UZODIMMA.

The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter ably led by *Hon. Macdonald Kelechi Ebere, PhD, KSJ,* has received with joy and satisfaction the news of the official recognition of  the Kingsley Ozumba ( K.O ) Mbadiwe University by National Universities Commission (NUC) as Imo State Government owned University.

At the official presentation ceremony, which took place at the National Secretariat of NUC in Abuja, our dynamic and result-driven governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, was presented with the letter of recognition and operational license of the institution, by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, making it the 42 State-owned university and 143 university in Nigeria.

This development underscores the Governor's dispassionate commitment to the recovery of all public and private properties illegally converted to personal uses by public office holders, in line with the policy thrust of his shared prosperity administration anchored on the three point agenda of Recovery, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation.

The spontaneous excitement elicited by this latest development among our people, no doubt demonstrates their appreciation and support for the ongoing recovery agenda of the Uzodimma administration.

While we celebrate this great landmark achievement and significant milestone, we assure his excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma of the unflinching solidarity and unalloyed support of the greater percentage of our people - the Imo electorate, whose yearnings and sentiments reflect the actions and attitude of the APC-led administration in the State.
