I ALMOST BELIEVED

2019 general election will forever remain fresh in the minds of Imolites, the year God surfaced and manifested himself as the alpha and Omega.

An election that saw to the total liberation of Imo State from undue and unjust treatment from people meant to protect her.

If there is one thing Imolites will always be grateful for, it's the fact that Rochas Okorocha didn't succeed in installing his son in-law as the Governor of Imo state.

When Hope Uzodimma became the governor 7 months after the election, I was scared seeing those that milked Imo dry all around him. I was very skeptical about the union, little did I know that Hope Uzodimma will never trade Imo state on the altar of temporal political friendship.

One may be surprised about the political reunion of Emeka Ihedioha and Rochas okorocha, but am not. It's a reunion that can be best described as reunion of bitter losers. A reunion of one who feels that Sen. Hope Uzodimma took what's meant for him even after erroneously being declared winner of an election with just 3 LGA and one who think that Sen. Hope Uzodimma should have overlooked his excesses simply because they are party members.

Before now, I was almost begining to believe that Emeka Ihedioha is a different political breed but his Open meeting with a man that almost killed Imo state has obviously proven me wrong. Oh! I almost believed.

Over several months, I have been getting this report of their unholy union but I decided to overlook it pending when I see things for myself and after yesterday's public romance, I can only say that Emeka Ihedioha is no different from Rochas okorocha. Thank God he didn't get past 7months in office.

To you Emeka, if I say am not disappoint, then I must be lying to my conscience. Your union with a man that divided Imo state into 3 and kept almost all 3 to himself is a clear fact that you never meant well for Imo state. If truly you meant well for us, the enemy of Imo state should at all cost be your enemy. Same way you sacrificed our oil wells just to maintain your relationship with Wike, same way again you are sacrificing Imolites just to build a political force ahead of 2023. What quest for power cannot do, does not exist.

The war between Hope Uzodimma and Rochas okorocha today is simply because Hope Uzodimma bluntly refused to allow him keep all that he took from us. He obviously put Imo state first before any political relationship or union.

The fight, media blackmail, name calling, emergency political reunions, secret meetings in and around Imo state, and other devices to distract the shared prosperity government is simply because he refused to sacrifice the interest of Imolites on the altar of politics. In Rivers State, Gov. Wike  has been throwing tantrums at the seating governor of Imo state simply because he refused to overlook the oil wells belonging to Imo State which they have been enjoying. As a former PDP member, it would have been very easy for Governor Hope Uzodimma to overlook the oil wells just to maintain political friendship, but obviously he places Imo state above any political relationship or partnership. That's patriotism.

In quest for power, Emeka Ihedioha has sold Imolites. His greed and selfishness has once again confirmed to me that he can do anything to remain in power. What a pity.

To my dear Imolites, I believe at this point, we all know those that want us to progress and those that are merely after political position.

As God's own state that we are, His Grace will continually remove those that want us dead even before they finish their plans.

God will definitely give us the grace and wisdom to always make the right decision at all cost.

Before you start your defense, think about this; Rochas Okorocha will only support anyone that will help him retain all that he has taken from our commonwealth, obviously that man is Emeka Ihedioha.

Compliment of the season Ndi Imo chukwu goziri.

Security Forces in the state through a coordinated intelligence report has bursted the camp of the unknown gunmen at Akokwa, Arondizuogu after a long gun duel which resulted to the death of some of the criminals and others arrested.
