As part of Federal Government's plan to lift 100m people out of poverty in 10 years, the Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba today opened a 2-day Maiden Meeting of the Directors of Entrepreneurship Development Centres in Nigerian Universities at the Conference Hall of the NUC, Abuja.
Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba however drummed the need for guidance as it gets more difficult daily to provide jobs for the ever increasing number of graduates in the country.
He stressed the importance of entrepreneurship in boosting MSMEs in the country which in turn has an overall positive impact on our economy.
The Honorable Minister therefore implored all stakeholders especially the Universities through the Entrepreneurship Development Centres to deepen their involvement into the nitty-gritty of unleashing entrepreneurship potentials and equipping our graduates maximally while synergising efforts with other government agencies to do the needful in supporting MSMEs in our respective localities to diversify the nation's economy and attain the desired growth.
