Nwajiuba Presides over Alvan Ikoku's 27th Convocation Ceremony

The Honorable Minister of State Education has presided over the 27th Convocation Ceremony of the Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri, Imo State.

While applauding the staff and management of the school, he implored them to put in more effort in ensuring that they produce quality graduates who can impact positively on the Nigeria's education sector.

Hon. Nwajiuba also conferred honorary degrees on well deserving individuals. The recipients included Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Bishop J.V ( Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Diocese), Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho (Ex Interior Minister), Arc. Chike Okafor (Member representing Okigwe South Federal Constituency) amongst others.

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid.
