2021 Teachers Day: Nwajiuba Celebrates with Nigerian Teachers

The Honorable Minister of State Education, Hon Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has led the celebration of World Teachers Day at the Eagle Square, in Abuja. This is to commeorate the celebration of World Teachers Day, a day marked out for teachers all over the world.

Accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc Sonny Echono, Directors of the Federal Ministry of Education and Heads of Agencies and Parastatals of Education,on behalf of Mr President, Muhammad Buhari, the Minister promised the government's commitment to consolidate on achievements so far towards the welfare of teachers.

Prizes comprising of cars, buses and electronic home appliances worth millions of naira were given to deserving teachers and schools in both the public and private categories.

BREAKING: 2Baba Shot Dead In Rivers State

A notorious cult leader and the prime suspect in the brutal murder of the late Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbashim, in the state, Gift Okpara, popularly referred to as 2Baba, has been reportedly killed in a police-led major security raid. Hundreds of mourners, friends, well-wishers, media representatives, and party faithful gathered are presently at Emmaus House in Awka for a candlelight procession to honor the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
