Amb Timothy Ihemadu buries sister.


The remains of late Mrs Charity Nma Ajike has been laid to rest on 27th August 2021 in her residence no 4 Adeyeri Adeoye, Akute, Ogun State. Late Charity Nma Ajike was the younger sister of Ambassador Timothy Ihemadu former special Adviser (SA) to Deputy speaker House of Representatives, Head of Mission International Organization for sustainable Development Nigeria and National President Nzuko Okigwe. A statement Issued by Ambassador Timothy Ihemadu described his late Sister Charity Nma Ajike ( Nee Ihemadu) as a devout and kind christain. He remarks that: " Nothing is as shocking to the entire Ihemadu family other than the death of Mrs Charity Nma Ajike ( Nee Ihemadu). Her sudden flight to the heavenly realm remains a puzzle to those left behind and to the family that appreciate her vivacious nature, kindness and outspokeness. I appreciate the outpouring of emotion, share in our pain and grief. Charity is irreplaceable. Her spotless and saintly soul will forever be missed. We are much pained that death was inconsiderate not to have allowed us to savour the beauty and kindness that characterized her earthly sojourn. In our next life, we shall apply to God to grant us the previledge of having her around us. While in tears, We pray to God to accept her soul in his bossom. Journey well Nma".


The funeral mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Tony Fashola, Rev. Fr. Luke Adeleke and Rev. Fr. E. Oriyomi of St Alphonsus Catholic Church Akute- Ajuwon Road Ogun State. Mrs Charity died after a battle with a long protracted cancer on 26th July, 2021. She is survived by 6 siblings, her husband, aged Mother, and four children - Andre Oby Amadi, Shalom Ugochi Amadi, Princess Kelechi Amadi, and Joy Chidinma Amadi.


In a condolence message signed by HRH Eze Abel C. Chukwuocha of Avutu Obowo autonomous community describe the deceased  Mrs Charity Nma Ajike as a "Worthy daughter of Avutu Obowo who brought cheering news to the Obowo people when she was married by a Prince. She is an epitome of a great woman".

Hon Chike Okafor, Member House of Representatives extol the rare qualities of the deceased: " She is a devoted christain, a woman of great virtue and a hard working individual. Her death will leave a huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill especially in the family. Her wise counsel, love and humble life will be greatly missed by every one." 


Similarly, Rt Hon Barrister Kennedy Ibeh, member representing Obowo State constituency testify of Mrs Charity Nma Ajike life was a service to God and humanity. He said: " Charity lived a purpose driven life.she stood by the virtues and values Ihemadu family is Known for"


In a signed Statement signed  by Hon Eddy Obinna Representing Aboh Mbaise State Constituency in the Imo state house of Assembly reads: " Charity was indeed a very kind woman that impacted postively in the lives of many that crossed her path". He pray that God gives the Ihemadu family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss"


Also, Hon Chigozie Nwaneri of Oru East Constituency in his condolence message condole with Amb Timothy and the entire Ihemadu family. He said: "Charity was a woman of honour and dignity and no doubt will be greatly Missed.


Former Chief of staff to former Governor Ihedioha, Chief Barrister Chris Okewuluonu said: " the deceased left behind landmarks by which she will always be remembered." In a separate statement, Dr Mrs Gloria K. Ahmed, Ag director special dutiy of National economic council expressed her condolences to the Ihemadu family while Chief Emmanuel Okewuluonu through her Ikeoha Organization commiserate with the Ihemadu family. He wrote: " charity was an amazing woman, hard-working and was able to achieve remarkable success in life through humility and diligence


Friends, well wishers and family members also paid glowing tributes.
