UZODINMA ANGERED BY LEADERSHIP DECADENCE IN IMO, PROMISE TO IMPROVE ON IT

BY PRINCELY ONYENWE,IMO

Imo state governor, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma has decried leadership decadence in the state by previous administration's and has promised to Improve on it through his 3R leadership mantra. The govenor made this statement just before he left for inspection tour at project sites in the state.

While speaking with Newsmen in Owerri, Uzodinma assured Imolites of quality leadership, better than previous administrations that governed the state in the past.

In his words, "I will make Imo a better state to the envy of other states in the Federation"

Uzodinma maintained that under his administration, imo state will surely Improve on every sector which will  surpass previous administrations in the area of leadership.

However Govenor Hope Uzodinma has stipulated that the 3R time frame to synchronize the 3R policy of Recovery, Reconciliation and Rehabilitation to better Imo state in is reversible.

Recall that Imo governor assured Imolites that his tenure will make Imo proud, having showcased his elegance and service delivery on the few infrastructural developments in the state.

However, road construction is one major projects, among which the governor has promised to make Imo roads motorable.

Another major target in his administration is to restore the beauty of the streets in the municipality with the latest traffic light Project in the state.

The invention is said to be inline with the latest trend in the developed countries of the world where ROUNDABOUTS are outdated.

Meanwhile, the governor of Imo state also assured the state of maximum security and safety of citizens by resisting the dreaded unknown gun men that came to ridicule the image of the state.

There is no doubt Orlu zone of the state is raising unnecessary tension by the continuous attack on citizens by Hoodlums, the Government of Imo state has increased surveillance to curb crime in the area.

The recent killing of a DPO in a police station in orlu is being seriously investigated by the law enforcement agencies to bring to book the assailants.

Another pressing area is civil service welfare, which at several times have been reported to the governor to help Imo workers and pay off arears of salaries owed to them.

On this, governor Uzodinma has promised to keep to his Promise to pay imo workers and pensioners their salaries as at when due.

Also on sanitation, the Government has expressed RESOLVE to keep the state clean and free from health hazards.

At Douglas road owerri, road side traders have continued to abuse the law imposed to get rid of unnecessary blockades along Imo roads.

Recent reports by our correspondence in Owerri are if the view that Douglas and Mbaise roads in Owerri are always  blocked because of roadside traders who have continued to ignore Government directives to make the roads motorable.

Besides, GOVERNOR UZODINMA at his Inauguration promised to make Imo a better state but regretted the continued set backs by stubborn IMOLITES.

Moreso, at the time of this report, few Imo politicial stakeholders have aligned with the former governors IHEDIOHA and Okorocha to trauncate Imo Government, while the quest for better GOVERNANCE beckons.

A call in the right direction is to caution Imo political leaders to jettison futher distractions and set backs posed on Uzodinma's administration to allow him govern the state and make all Imolites live happily.

For now, it is confirmable that Imo state is wearing a new look while hoping to see more Improvements from Senator Hope Uzodinma.
