The Chairman of New Motorcycle Spare Parts (NASPA) Nnewi, Hon. Obinna Okechukwu has commended the Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano for his proactiveness at seeing to it, that the inuguaration of the campaign council of APGA for the forthcoming Gubernatorial election in the state, became a reality.
He made this assertion yesterday at Awka after the inuguaration of the campaign council that will power the Soludo gubernatorial ambition towards becoming the next governor of Anambra state.
He thanked the Governor, for ensuring that the spirit of Ndigbo which is in APGA did not die a natural death, considering the many legal battles the party has faced in recent times.
He therefore called for synergy to ensure that the party went into the election as a united force , so that Prof Charles Soludo can become the next governor of Anambra state.
In the same vien, the APGA National Leader, Board of Trustees Chairman and Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano while performing the inauguration ceremony of its National, State Local Government campaign Council and Committees yesterday at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, Friday, 20th August, 2021, commended the resilience of the party in surmounting the many problems facing the party.
The APGA State Campaign Council has Professor Solo Chukwulobelu as the Director General, Former Deputy Governor Emeka Sibudu as Deputy Director, Mr. Primus Odili as the Campaign Secretary, Finance and Administration, Chief Chinedu Obidigwe as Deputy Director General, Operations, Strategy and Security, as well as Chief Ifeanyichukwu Ibezim as the Deputy Director General and Mobilization, among others.
The National Campaign Council has Chief Willie Obiano as the Chairman, while Chief Victor Oye is the Deputy Chairman of the campaign council including many others as members.
It is believed that with its tsuccessful Inauguration of the campaign council yesterday, APGA is now ready to start embarking on campaigns as it marks the official commencement of smooth transition to the next dispensation.
Speaking at the inuguaration of the campaign council yesterday, Professor Chukwuma Soludo said that APGA represents Ndi Anambra. He noted that the poverty level of Anambra in 2018 was 53 percent but now 14.8 percent, as he cautioned against being mindful of the orchestrated campaigns against APGA, as there were no factions in APGA, he stated.
The event attracted APGA party stakeholders at the National, State and Local Government levels.
